wired connection on ps5 ( and ps4 ) says no connection upon start up

i just upgraded my internet speed from 100/100 to 300/300 this past wednesday (1/31/24). same company Verizon. now both my Ps5 and Ps4 say "no internet connection" upon startup. both systems are wired and nothing in the settings has changed. has anyone else had this issue. i am searching all over the internet and have found nothing really related to this specific issue. when i go to my network settings the system THEN finds a connection and connects perfectly fine.
i am lost with what to do regarding this issue, on the old router ( also fully wired ) to each system i was instantly connected upon logging on.

any help, advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.
