Hey there, PlayStation Nation! It's me again! ![Smiling face with smiling eyes  😊](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/7.0/png/unicode/64/1f60a.png)
There's been a nagging issue on my mind, and I have to know if I'm alone in this or if it's a shared sentiment in our community. You know, when you're scrolling through comments on a YouTube video or a gaming forum and come across that all-too-familiar dig: "The PS5 is ugly."
Now, I'm not one to take offense easily, but I feel a surge of indignation when I read such comments, especially from Xbox users. I mean, come on! The Xbox Series X is basically a black box. A glorified rectangle. Where's the creativity? The innovation?
The PS5, on the other hand, has a sleek design, a sense of style, it's edgy, futuristic, and it simply screams premium.
And it's not just about the looks. Technically, the PS5 is a beast. It's got that ultra-high-speed SSD, the ability to output 4K graphics at a buttery smooth 120Hz, and that 3D audio technology that leaves you fully immersed in your games. It's an absolute powerhouse, and yet, we're still caught up in this design debate.![Disappointed face :disappointed: 😞](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/7.0/png/unicode/64/1f61e.png)
I'll admit it, I've found myself disliking videos where someone has the audacity to call the PS5 ugly. I mean, we're all entitled to our opinions, sure, but it feels like a blatant disregard for what the PS5 represents - a leap into the future of console gaming.
So, I ask you, my fellow PlayStation enthusiasts, does it rile you up too when someone takes a jab at the PS5's design? Have you found yourself in situations where you've felt the need to defend our console's honor? Share your experiences, let's have a chat.
And to any Xbox users lurking here, no offense intended. In the spirit of friendly competition, we're just very passionate about our console of choice!![Red heart  ❤️](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/7.0/png/unicode/64/2764.png)
End rant.
