So my PS5 is hooked up to a Bravia 9 mini QLED TV via Sony 5.2 receiver with 4K and HDR pass through. I have a couple games that will run at 120FPS and the TV supports VRR but the receiver does not. Can I plug my PS5 straight into the TV via HDMI and the receiver into the TV via optic audio and not lose surround while I am gaming?
