SSD issues with PS4

So this might be a dumb question, but I had upgraded my ps4 pro HHD to a full SSD. Everything is so much faster. So when I download a game, the second it's download, it's installed. But when I update certain games... COD Black Ops Cold War, and Doom Eternal, I have to wait through this long copy section.

Now this could be because, the console is doing much more than copying, but that still seems like the SSD would fix that.

I also wonder if certain game designers, specifically ones who created a game for both the PS4 and PS5, if they put in something for the SSD in the PS5 game, and didn't enable it for PS4's.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I am not 100% sure but I have experienced from SSD from computer is that all good SSDs have a small cache storage which is super fast compared to rest of the SSD speed. So, PS4 or any connected device writes to that super fast cache. If it gets filled and the transfer is still not completed, it can result in transfer starting very fast but eventually getting slower than the usual. It is more common is cheap SSDs as they have less of that fast storage, So, all long as your installing and rest of the operation are doing good, I don't think it is the issue with SSD. Maybe Sony can publish a future update to improve the transfer process for updating the app but there is no news yet.
