I’ve got a situation where my son has 2fa set up on an account attached to a mobile number I don’t recognise and I’m trying to log him into my PS5 console (he was previously on my PS4 but that has now been sold) but obviously it won’t let me.
I have contacted Sony and they said that as I can’t verify his account (they wanted a transaction detail but he’s never actually purchased anything on PS, I buy it all!) he can’t recover the account and will have to sign up for a new PS account with a new email address!
Seems ridiculous to me since he is attached to my account as a sub account!
Has anyone got any ideas or have had the same situation? I really don’t want to have to set new emails and accounts up!
