PS5 Recovering a prior save

Last night a glitch made me restart my game of Balder's Gate 3 and when I did, my character was gone and I was logged out of Larian. My PS5 still shows that I've played 83 hours and all my trophies, it shows that backups have happened, but can't figure out how to get it back. Not sure if this is a Larian issue or PS5. Can you recover a prior save on PS5?

Do you have PS + so can recover from cloud save?
The backups should be under Settings>Saved Data & Game/app settings>Saved Data/download from cloud storage, select the data/game you wish to restore then click download.
