Has anyone had this happen please? PS4 was working ok, no issues. Prepared to sell it so went into safe mode and selected 'initilaze PS4.' Now system won't go beyond the welcome screen which says press PS button on the DualShock 4 controller. Nothing happens then and I can't get any further. Tried repeating this reset several times, downloaded new software over internet and rebuilding database. Also tried downloading new software via usb and recieve 'cannot find update file version 13.04 or later su-30649-2 error.'I have checked the folders are correct format.
When pressing PS button the led does light up on controller but no change to screen. The PS button does work when in safe mode.
The contoller is not a Sony model but a Nacom one. Could that be significant? If anyone has help, thank you.
