PS4 PS4 controller light not turning on

my ps4 controller's light wont turn on when i charge it or press the ps button, it does not go into pairing mode and does not connect to my ps4. when i connect it via a wire to my pc, it works perfectly fine, the light turns on, changes color, all they keys work fine. after some days the controller automatically starts working again and pairs to ps4 and then randomly stops

Does it need to be reassigned again after using it on a pc?
