For those that dont know, the PlayStation store on the PS3 is still open
Sony was planning to shut it down back in 2021-right along with Microsoft and Nintendo with their online console stores
But, public demand kept it open. As of Feb 2026, its still open.
So, if you still have a PS3 that you haven't used in a a while, might be worth a chance to fire it back up, and download a few games before the finally decide to shut it down, which as if now could be any time. Sony has not set any date yet. it is still open for the foreseeable future.
Edit: The Netflix App is going to be shutdown on the PS3. That is all i know as of right now.
