Recently purchased new PS5 games Disc not online from wallyworld. I installed COD modern warfare 3 yet I'm still unable to play, it keeps giving me a purchase option($69), which I don't understand.... Do I have to purchase more than just the disc to have access to the games? Not sure what to do next, nerve racking Utube is useless they assume everyone is a video game genius. Yes I'm logged in to the network, don't have any ideas what I'm doing wrong, it shouldn't be this complicated, download games and play the end, but they can't do that for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

First I believe the PlayStation network is down so the disc files may not be installing. I don’t know if it’s fixed yet.
However:
Was the PS5 & Game new?
When you inserted the disc did the game start installing?
If yes then did you also receive any further updates to the game?
Does the game come with any DLC? If not then the cost shown may be the DLC.
When you click on the game’s icon is the disc still inserted?

Yes, new game, yes it installed, yes it did a update and restart, and yes disc still installed when I click on it. Not sure what DLC is. Just know when I click on Icon COD MODERN WARFARE 3 in library it only goes as far as giving me a price. Which makes zero sense, I purchased the game and now can't use it.
There should be the game’s icon on the homepage, if you click on that rather in the library does the price still show?

DLC = downloadable content, extras like new missions, costumes, guns etc.
Try restoring the license:
settings, account, other/more, restore licences if that doesn’t work the restore database then restore the license:
Turn off PS5. Press and hold the power button until it beeps twice. Select Clear Cache and Rebuild Database. Select Rebuild Database.
If the game came with any content packs then install those as well, there may be a code or something in the case.
In the end you might have to contact Sony &/or Wallyworld with proof the game isn’t working.

It’s an old problem:
These games are terrible, have zero idea what to click on. Bought disc BRAND NEW COD MODERN WARFARE 2 AND 3 . If I click on the game it wants me to buy it again. I finally go to my library of games and get on COD WARZONE and it just keeps searching for games! I have super fast internet so that's not the problem. The problem is the geeks that made the game, if you purchase a game you should be able to play it online or offline without any other headaches, the way it used to be. Now you have to be online to play, have Playstation plus or whatever it's called. I guess buying a product isn't enough anymore without a subscription to have you pay forever. If I can't figure this out in a few weeks, look on ebay for a PS5 with controllers and charging stations with games, priced to sell .
The search is terrible. Whenever I use it, it just shows the games I have installed & not others in the franchise.

Thanks I'll give it a try after I get my prosaic refilled. I know it's not hard for frequent players, but I been shutup for awhile due to surgery and I'm am bored to death, so I bought all this to do while I was down, it's helped me to be able to throw again and I've learned so new words to use when crap doesn't go right.
