New PS account, current fortnite account

Me and my son have a ps4 account and plays a lot of fortnite.
But our ps4 account is registered with UK as region so we cant use swedish gift cards.

Would it be possible to create a new ps4 account and still be able to use our current fortnite account?

I belivie as the account is linked to a live server, you cannot change teh region once it is created, and it remains as such forever.

New accounts can be opened in new regions but it would be only that region, there is no way to mix and match here unfortunately. (that i am aware of, I do not play fornite)
