Ok I have a PS5 and a VR so I had to disconnect my VR for my external hard drive is there any device I can use to connect them both

Unfortunately any splitter cable may not work with both devices connected. I tried one of those adapters on my PS4 & nothing worked, I looked at the same for my PS5 but the reviews stated they didn’t work.
I have my ExHD connected at the back via USB 3 rather than using the front USB C. But your drive may not have a cable for this.
