Hello, I recently signed up to PlayStation plus using my main email address however, I set the console up previously and a long time ago, with another email address. My console will not let me change the email address/playstation account and whenever I try to sign in with my main email address instead it says that that account already exists (with an exclamation mark) and I can't add it. Anyone know a way around this? The steps I have taken have been: account management, sign in, sign in manually, tried to change the sign in email and password and then not got anywhere. I've also tried the QR code route which just gives me an error message.

I suspect because you signed up to PS+ with the email address that it is interfering with adding it to your account. I suspect you’ll need to contact support to have them transfer the email.
