Hi there.
As the title says; I recently tried upgrading the HDD in my PS4 Pro to an SSD - I backup up all my data onto a USB drive, installed the SSD, went through initialising process then went ahead and tried to restore all my data & games. Typically after about an hour I got "Cannot read from USB device CE-33299-6", I tried twice.
I plugged the USB drive into a computer, done a surface scan to find some errors, corrected them and tried again. This time I got a corruption error so I decided to reinstall the original HDD and try to backup all my data again then try another restore (since I read you can simply reinstall the original drive) but after I did this it reinitialised and after logging back into PSN with my account it's wiped the original drive! So as of now It seems I have lost my captures and everything!
Is there any way to get these back or are they simply gone??
