Can't renew PlayStation Plus

So I've been trying to extend Playstation plus but everytime I try the same message pops up. It goes something like this game is unavailable try again later. My plus was supposed to expire may tenth 2022 and it was for a year. I am just trying to renew it till the what is included in the new tiers is unveiled. Was there a extension I
don't know about?

Sony have disabled PS+ renewal due to the new service beginning in June.
The new tiers are the same - 1st tier is equal to PS +, tier 2 equals PS + & PS Now while the third will include these plus a selection of PS 1 & 2 games.
