Hi
Hoping someone can help. Buying a PS5 for 8 yo son for Xmas. I don't know much about these things!
For the same price I can get the Disc Version with EA Sports or the Slim Disc Version with no free game. I was wondering is there much advantage to the slim disc version?
Also, I could save some money by getting the Slim Digital Version and adding a disc drive - does anyone know if that would be exactly the same as the Slim Disc version?

I believe the slim disk version does have a replaceable disk drive so is the same as buying separately.
The original doesn’t have a replaceable drive from what I can see,
The slim may have problems with ventilation due to its size.
Of the options I’d purchase the slim with drive. There cost of console + drive seperately would be the same as purchasing the console with the drive fitted. Shop around with the Black Friday offers.
There’s also the PS5 Pro version to consider.
