Hello PlayStation Community,
I’ve been a dedicated PlayStation user and trophy hunter for over a decade, with a long history of engagement across many genres and a large game library. During that time, I’ve noticed a recurring limitation in the PSN trophy system:
Currently, players must scroll through long lists to view any trophies, which makes it difficult to highlight personally meaningful or particularly challenging accomplishments.
On platforms like Steam, users can designate a small set of achievements (e.g., 3–5) that appear prominently on their profile. This provides:
Clearer visibility of key accomplishments
Social recognition and bragging rights
Motivation for casual players to engage more deeply with trophies
A sense of identity and achievement for long‑term players
I propose a feature allowing PlayStation Network users to pin up to 5 trophies to their profile. These would display next to the avatar or background imagery, offering immediate visibility to the user’s most meaningful feats without altering existing profile elements (e.g., background images).
This would benefit:
Casual players (boosting engagement)
Mid‑tier players (highlighting notable achievements)
Hardcore trophy hunters (recognition for difficult feats)
The broader PSN community (increased motivation and retention)
Thank you for considering this suggestion. I would be happy to provide additional context if needed. Please share this if you agree and maybe even make your own implementations of this so we can allow PlayStation to see this idea.
Best regards, YoitzReece
