Intermittent Controller Connection Issues After v12.0 Update

I've noticed that after upgrading to v12.0 on the ps4 I've been having a really annoying issue withe controllers. Randomly, about once a day I turn on the ps4 with a wireless controller and once the ps4 wakes up and returns to where I left it before sleeping the controller shuts off. After turning it back on it blinks white for about 30 seconds then turns off again. Once this happens no other controllers will work, they all do the same thing, even via USB. The only way to fix is to completely unplug the ps4. I do not believe this is a controller issue because it happens on all 4 of my controllers. It also only started after the 12.0 upgrade in September.

Anyone else having this issue or know what to do to fix it?

Thanks in advance...

Have you checked for any DS4 firmware updates?
Have you tried a pinhole reset with 1 of the controllers & repaired it to see if that fixes the problem?

Thanks Anankha for the tip. I'm assuming you mean PS4 firmware? I'm on the latest version 12.0 of the OS. Where would I find the firmware for PS4 or DS4? I looked through settings and couldn't find anything.

pinhole reset didn't fix. I tried this back when it first started happening. Thought it was a controller issue.

I am however on 3 days without having the issue, that's the longest so far :)

Connect the controller to your console and check for firmware updates. Go to Settings > Devices > Controllers > Update System Software.

No updates are available for the controllers. It's funny, I had been having this issue almost daily for a while and as soon as I posted this I haven't had it since.... Maybe I did something in my troubleshooting that fixed it, maybe it went away on its own, or maybe it'll be back... I'll post again when it returns because you know, now that I said it isn't happening it will happen again.
