Dualsense issues after latest patch

I have issue with my controller since the latest system update.

Controller works fine in homescreen. But in games all buttons expect the ps button is non responsive.

I have to hard reset in the ingame meny and reconnect with usb cable and then it works. Very annoying.

And my R2 bumper also stopped working since update.

Any ideas or similar issues and fixes?

Have you checked for any controller firmware updates via the controller menu?

Yes. It’s updated to latest avaiable.

Bought a new controller tday and it works fine.

Is there a way to reset firmware for controller.

Also tested via pc that all buttons works expect for the r2. Have opened the controller and all hardware is ok. Nothing broken inside.

Not reset the firmware but there’s a reset button on the controller which will allow you to connect the controller like a new one.

Done that. Multiple times. Maybe sony will make new updates if more people get same issues

Thanks for the update. I’d report the problem to Sony just in case it’s a bad update.
